If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you! Whether it's Women's Section, Men's Section or Junior Section, whether you are a current player, returning player or never played before, OR if you are a parent of a young player or if you live in the area or thinking of moving to Leicestershire, then the best person to make contact with is our Club President, Dave.
It has been necessary to delay the setting of Membership and Match Fees for 2023-24: there has been a number of increased costs (as we have all had!)
Rest assured, all existing members will get their invite through Teamo as soon as possible and your Club is doing everything it can to provide opportunities for all and maintain good value for money.
Increased costs, above the underlying inflationary pressures (5%, 7%, 9% or whatever % depending what news you read!), does mean that fees will increase from the 2022-23 levels shown below.
Club membership is a generally a one-off payment, allowing the club to minimise any administration, but flexible arrangements can be made to spread the costs if required - speak to Club President or to Club Treasurer:
Match Fees: Each game £6 for all players
Junior Match Fees: Depending on games/tournaments
Existing members will receive an invitation to renew via Teamo and by email.
New members will first of all need to enrol on Teamo (including emergency contact and other details)
Once enrolled on Teamo, then the membership fee can be paid.
NB: Senior players ALSO need to be enrolled on England Hockey's Game Management System (GMS) - all team sheets, all divisions, will be submitted through GMS.
The Hockey Club is run by a volunteer Committee, Team Captains and Coaches.
The money coming into the club is spent on:
The Management Committee reviews the Membership Fee each year and the accounts are available at the AGM. LHC strive to provide "coaching, recreational and competitive opportunities in the sport of hockey*" and hope to always provide value-for-money!
